Community-based medical college

Community-based medical college is established as an academic enterprise of a community health foundation in the year 1995. The community health foundation is responsible for providing financial support and resource to the college and the attached hospital. The college has an impressive infrastructure and has a provision for 650 bed hospital within the campus. Furthermore, community-based medical college offer separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. The college is an affiliated member of the international organization “NETWORK: towards unity for health” based in Maastrict Netherlands.

Jahurul Islam Medical College and hospital is established under the Aftab Rahima welfare trust. The great Philanthropist Jahurul Islam was the founder of Jahurul Islam Medical College.
